|
|
I'd like to ask the prospective/existing councillors to do the following;
Identify what they see as the three key areas of importance to local residents.
Identify three areas of local concern that need change.
Set out their plans to try to bring about such changes and PLEDGE to do their upmost to affect such change.
Please note: I am not asking for candidates to guarantee these changes will definitely happen - I am not so naive as to imagine that anyone could do this - but I am asking candidates seeking OUR votes to show their commitment to change, by promising they will try their hardest to make positive changes to Local life.
And then maybe we can see if the candidates are REALLY in tune with what residents are thinking |

| ONE week on and not ONE candidate has come forward to answer this! I have to say I am most unimpressed with all three of the candidates' response to a straightforward question -come on - one of you must have the B**ls to answer! |

If elected, I would aim to
? Improve the traffic situation in Gatley, specifically the lights at the A34 junction
? Address the problem of the Tatton cinema site, which has become an eyesore
? Increase the use of ASBOs
? Secure more parking spaces for local businesses
? Reduce the noise levels of the M60
? Introduce wheely-bins for household rubbish
? Arrange for the potholes in our roads to be filled
? Tackle the problems related to the skateboard area in Gatley recreation ground
? Introduce Christmas lights in Gatley |
